Pokémon Colosseum (Japanese: ポケモンコロシアム Pokémon Colosseum) was released on the Nintendo GameCube on November 21, 2003 at Japan, March 22, 2004 from North America, and May 14, 2004 in Europe. Plot

Upon reaching the new location, a pair of shady men and women are only leaving the town using a noisy, wriggling sofa in tow. As soon as they see they’ve been captured, one of these goons, Folly, starts a struggle with the participant. Once defeat, both people get off, leaving the sack unattended. A woman emerges out of the bag following some trouble undoing the knot, and then promise to have observed the kidnappers use some type of strange looking Pokémon. The girl becomes the player’s partner and go to discover the Mayor to clear things up. The participant finally learns how to undo the effects of this process, and have to catch all of Cipher’s Shadow Pokémon to hamper the evil mastermind behind everything. After beating Miror B in Pyrite Cave, Dakim at Mt. Battle, Venus in The Under and Ein from the Shadow Pokémon Laboratory, the player goes to Realgam Tower; after beating the Admins again, Gonzap comes out and shows that Cipher gave Team Snagem that the Snag Machines; and then that Snagem gave the Pokémon to Cipher, who created Shadow Pokémon; significance this was one master plan spanned by Cipher. After defeating Snagem, Nascour–that the manager of Cipher–is conquered by the participant. Afterwards, it is revealed that Phenac City’s mayor Es Cade is actually Evice, the real supervisor of Cipher. After he is defeated, he tries to escape; however, luckily, a Ho-Oh employs Holy Fire to prevent him, saving the day.

Even with the real pioneer of Cipher under arrest, there’s still a post-ending to be finished. Secc, by the Kids Grid, mails the participant information about a few interesting characters who end up telling the participant about several points of interest.
